Well, the place was briefly *dead* dead, as in... Stopped working due to being hacked. However, right now... I'd guess everyone is where they always were, 'cept not getting their asses online.

By the way, I was thinking; it seems pretty shallow that Surf and Dust just gave up when the forum was taken away from them.

hi i cant blame surf & dust, i have been in touch with surf a few times, he was pissed that they were not asked to remain as mods, the decision was made and they left, but things change they may return who knows.

I'm still in fairly regular contact with Surf, and I don't think he is going to return any time soon. He feels very much betrayed.

i didn't give up when the forum was taken away. I just found it to be a huge slap in the face after all the work i did. I was the first member on freplay besides sem. While some people may have disagreed with some of my decisions, i never did anything major without asking the other members first. I tried to do everything that the members asked for to make the site better. While I didn't post every day, I spent many hours a week on the back end of the website and making sure everything ran smoothly to the best of my ability. Then pow, all gone. For no reason. No thank you, no sorry, nothing. All i'm saying is if Sem wanted to get back into the control of things, no problem. Shoot me an email. Let me know what's up. I had to remove mods or ban members before, but I never did so without telling them why, and seeing what other members wanted. I never took it upon myself to just ban or remove someones mod position. When I tried talking to Sem about what happened, he could give a shit about it. I feel like it was a very shady move, and didn't like the way he handled things with me and Surf.

That being said, I didn't leave because the boards were "taken away from me". I left because of the way the owner of the website decided to basicaly just get rid of everything WE worked so hard to build over the last few years and then basically blew me off when I tried talking to him. Not a cool move, and I dont' have any respect for someone that would do that.

I'm still here, I just don't post very much.
