i have a ibanez had it for 2 yrs its the only guitar i have one day i was jammin out it made a loud feedback noise and now thats all it does i have a cheap local guitar shop they dont know shit i am seriously dying to play need HELP what could it be i know its not my amp cause i let my friend try to fix it his guitar works just fine please help thanx

if you're brave, take the 1/4 inch jack off of the guitar, check the connections. if it isnt there take the pick guard off(it is electric right?) and check the connections there if its not any thing inside the guitar it might be your amp. good luck

hey thanks it was my pickup selector it had 2 wires that shorted out igot brave enough to take it apart rip it all out solder it back together it was a mess i am going to attempt to re wire the whole thing getting new pickups emg-81 or hz witch ever is better thanks man
