You should first fully understand how to read tabs before you open your first empty txt file and start tabbing. You will find everything you need to know in our "How to read tabs" article.

Rules and templates for tabbing

Feel free to use these templates when you start tabbing. We have a template for guitar tabs and a template for bass tabs. They should be a good start

Please also note a few rules.
-Tab is readable.
-Tab is faily complete. Not just intro or solo
-Check your tab for quiality and accuracy before you send it to us.
-We actually need the tab.
-The tab is better (or different) from current versions.
-Acoustic or Live tabs are considered different from studio versions.

To submit a tab, go to that artist or bands index here at fretplay.com and click the "submit tabs" link. Simply follow the easy instructions. If the band or artist is still not represented, submit the fresh tabs here
