It's still 311
I had to listen to the CD a few times, but, now that I have, it is by far one of my favorite albums. The first time I listened to this CD, I felt like I was starting all over again listening to them. If you are a beginning 311 fan, I would recommend this album solely for the fact that it has almost everything they are: positive energy merchants, hard rockers, balladiers, and Tim still puts a melody into that guitar like Santana only wishes he could. Make sure to also purchase Music and Grassroots, they are da coolest!.


From Chaos is From Chaos
I feel as though nick, chad, sa, p-nut, and tim have lost something or let something get to them that got in the way of the heart and soul that was 311. What happened to "letting the kind conciousness come unto you" this cd is nowhere near as "kind" lyricaly or melodically as grassroots, transistor, or even soundsystem. My loyalty to 311 was challenged with this cd. It was like a ugly sweater that your grandma gets you, you won't wear it but you don't want her to feel bad either. With the exception of uncalm, I'll be here awhile, and you wouldn't believe ~ This cd hurts ~ But who cares what Destiny thinks ~.

From Chaos Review
If you haven't heard any of their previous music this would be the cd to buy. I think this is one of 311's best, if not the best album they have ever had, songs like "You get Worked", and "From Chaos" just rock. It is good, lots of good guitars and bass. A very, very good album.
