Outstanding Their creativity is really evident and the production is clear. There is not a clinker in the tracks. The energy is high and is great to play while physically working. I am looking forward to their next effort.
Perfect
I've just discovered this album, and it's five years old! I was stunned that this cd- by one of my favorites- went under the radar. Just like EVERY other Ace of Base album, I love every song on it. One listen, and you'll be pulled immediately. Jenny and Lynn's voices are stronger and more beautiful than ever. Hey Darling is one hell of a song. I could listen to the intro alone over and over- it's gorgeous pop/rock. Da Capo is also one of the bands best. It's got an impossible to resist dance beat and an equally infectious chorus. .
A Pleasant Surprise
What a surprise. .
This album gets better as you go along. It definitively is the most mature album of AOB; more polished, interesting, more commercial (in a good sense).
Pop fans should be in heaven. Rock fans, while won't fall in love, might actually enjoy few tracks (makes for a good 'car' CD as you are trying to stay awake in a traffic jam).
Tracks that should be noted here include (in no particular order): Da Capo, What's The Name of The Game, Change With The Light, Hey Darling, and Wonderful Life (although the fans of the original version might find this one almost sacrilegious)
.
ANOTHER STELLAR CD!
If you liked the last album you will love this one. Yet again Ace of Base has come out with an awesome album! These guys continue to be under-appreciated and produce quality work. It has a mix of upbeat and slow songs that all seem to have a great beat to them. I don't need to list all the songs because you can see for yourself. If you are an Ace of Base fan then stop reading and start buying! If you have never heard of Ace of Base think Roxette meets Abba meets Voice of the Beehive. .
The best of Ace of Base
For some reason it wasn't widely available here in R. Two years after its original release I finally got my hands on it. O. Ireland. But it was worth the wait.
This is a fantastic album the best yet.
I love every song but my favourites are 'Unspeakable, Da Capo, Hey Darling and The Juvenile'. But the other 8 songs are equally fantastic. . . . . well done AOB.
