Best Songs
Saw him a couple of times in the '80's and he is an under - rated rock act. These are his best songs - no clunkers , in my opinion . Great live and recorded .

Shocked and Disappointed
And I never received a CD that was so poorly packed. I have been buying from amazon for 5 years. This seller must be 8 years old. And the CD case was broken and probably bought at The Dollat Tree. I will not ever buy from this seller again.

Essential for the casual fan
Not only does it include the mega hits like Summer of '69 which has been played ad nauseum since it's release but also the plethora of more mid level hits - and it's these that really make this album. As just a casual fan of this balladeer this release suits me perfectly.

Of course with a greatest hits package you will always get some anorak who complains that such and such a track from an obscure ep from 1983 really should of been here. But fans such as that already own all the albums anyway and can make their own best of for highway use and abuse. For the rest of us, given that Adams' ballads can be both tear jerking and vomit inducing in almost equal measure, just a single album of salient tracks is probably the way to go.

Ultimately the best advert for this release is the track listing. Your either on board or your not though IMHO for every clunker like Kids Wanna Rock there are tunes that work their innocent charms quite independantly of the listeners free will, such as Run To You and Can't Stop This Thing We Started.

I actually caught the tour to support this release when it passed through Australia and even though my mates and I were more used to the environs of, say, a Metallica concert, we really did enjoy the upbeat verve of the rock 'n' roll show Adams put on.

Heartily recommended for anyone who has hummed along to his radio hits but doesn't want to litter their CD shelf with the somewhat more dubious delights of the mans full catalogue even if it is bereft of any liner notes or anecdotes.

Greatest Hits? I think so...
The songs are the cream of the crop as far as I am concerned. I like this CD very much and have it downloaded at work where I listen to several times in a row.

bryan adams greatest hits
This cd is a good collection of his hits from that time period. Bryan Adams is one of my favorite rock singers from the 80s.
