I hope this is where modern music is headed Every band is going for that grunge/metal droning guitar sound so that their singer can sing the same rythm over and over again. I am ashamed of the music these days. So boring, so conformist, so NOT AFI!!
AFI has lept above the music scene. They are using their love of music to create and engineer songs that actually mean something and that actually has music that accompanies their meaning. The songs go in so many different directions that you dont know what to think when you first hear them. My advice: listen to them again.
