I somewhat agree with reviewer LoveJoy.
Another Voice is way more brutal, but this is real vintage sounding 21st century NYHC.
Yes, this album sounds like Agnostic was tryin a bit to replay their old school days, but you could sence that they were now older. kEEP IT UP aGNOSTIC. aNY TRUE nyhc FAN THIS IS A MUST HAVE.

Good ol punk!
Agnostic Fronts dead yuppies in very impressive! The album starts off really fast and really aggresive! I didn't really like some of lyrics, i thought some songs had very childish lyrics, but the sound quality really makes up for this album! good stuff! the druming is similar to the vocals fast and aggresive, basically sticking to the good ol' hardcore punk scene that made them a band!.

New York Hardcore/Oi! the Way It Should Be!
Dead Yuppies is probably one of their best and most aggressive albums since the classic Cause for Alarm album. For almost two decades, Agnostic Front's music has brought harsh aggression and power to the New York hardcore scene.

This album is the hardest thing around. The guitars wail like crazy and add to the aggression, while the drums supply an intense beat that makes you start wrecking stuff. All this mixed with Roger Miret's powerful voice, makes this album probably the most angry and hardest records on the Epitaph label. GET IT!.

lighten up
In my opinion nothing will beat their older albums like One Voice, LIVE at CBGB, and Victim IN Pain. I listened to the audio samples here and liked them a lot better than the tracks on "riot". As for the cover, big deal. . . . these guys are part of the fabric of NYC. So lighten up. These guys are the real deal.

Refreshing
AF was softening. After the kinda dull Riot Riot Upstart this is kind of a relief actually. And why?! I dunno! What's more important is the fact that these guys still CAN kick a. ss. And this is the proof. Yes, all tracks may be quite similar so I'd rate it with 4 and a half stars but well, that's not an option, so I'll give em five. It's a very fast album, and I'd definitely advise this if you like old AF albums.
