Solid but not great Only drawback is that they are showing their age a little and don't boogie as much as Reed fans might hope for. Solid Album by two legends and lifelong friends. That and Chet's singing voice has never been great and appears even less so next to Reed, who's second home is in front of the mic. .
One of Chet's Finest
Chet and Jerry Reed make an awesome duo, and "Sneakin' Around" boasts a dozen great charts with no filler that I can hear. Why Columbia lets titles like this go OP is beyond me. I own well over a dozen Atkins albums, and probably none contains as many tracks with so many pleasures as this one. If you can find this rarity at a reasonable price, spring for it.
Sneaky to be great
And I am not especially crazy about Chet and his electric guitar. This is one of the best albums every made by anyone, anytime. Don't miss this one!.
