There are incendiary live and demo versions of faves such as 'Swamp Pussy' and 'Pearl', wherein singer Kat Bjelland sounds utterly incandescent with ire. Viled is the final instalment of the Lived-Devil-Viled three-CD anthology of the band's work, and confirms them as a reliably seminal and bellicose group. Plus punky rarities like 'Flesh Crawl' and 'Watching Girl'. Courtney Love obviously payed attention to everything Kat Bjelland ever did first.
