Now This Is What I Am Talking About!!!!!!!!
Babyface is totally awesome on this CD, from Mary Mack to Lovers to Chilvary to If We Try. This is what I am talking about when I say that Babyface was at his best when he had L A Reid as the other ear to make sound decisions on certain tracks. Every song on this CD is totally awesome, I was blown away by how his sound could just penetrate the soul. I understand that you have a new CD out by the name of "Playlist", and by the way that cd is Horrible if you must know. This CD is what I mean about great lyrics and great singing. I highly recommend this cd, and people. . . . . . Please stay away from the "Playlist CD. . . . You'll thank me later.

`favorite cd of all time
For some reason it seems to disappear from my collection. I have purchased this cd at least five times. This is in my opionion some of babyfaces' best work.

In 1987, Babyface began his awesome solo career as a first-rate vocalist, songwriter and producer. He sings in a slikly slight faletto and also sings in his at lower tones in his full voice. This album features expertly produced romantically themed refined pop music for the adult audience. Although, "Lovers" is an adult pop album, the lyrics of the songs are inoffensive thus is suited for teens and pre-teens to appreciate & enjoy. This albums has songs that will set a romantic mood for romantic evenings with that special someone and/or awaken the lover in you. Includes the hits "If We Try", "Mary Mack" & the Top 10 R&B chart hit "I Love You Babe. " Highly recommended to those who enjoy refined music.

Music for lovers
They are perfect for romantic evenings!. I love the songs on this CD.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Babyface...
A. Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds was best known playing guitar with his R&B Band, The Deele, which also boasted his then-production partner L. Reid. "Lovers," his first solo effort, boasts such efforts as "You Make Me Feel Brand New," and the title track. This album is simply the introduction to this talented songwriter/singer/producer, and is one for 'Face fans to check out.
