bad manners,short changed
I'm sorry I bought it,and it went into the dustbin (trash can) in about ten minutes flat. the average length of track on this cd is about 30 seconds! It is a total rip off of sad sounding samples and very poor quality recordings. If you loved Bad Manners, steer well clear of this rubbish. The "one star" I gave this is only there because there isn't a minus star selection!!.

Avoid this disc!
I loved Bad Manners when I first heard them years ago and since then wore out the cassette. I just received this CD not 30 minutes ago and I am contemplating how I can dispose of it without seriously damaging the environment. When I saw this collection I jumped (foolishly) to buy it as the collection of songs seemed priceless. I should have known better. The complilers of the collection wanted a medley, so they chopped up all the songs to stuff them on the disc, leaving a horrible taste in any purchaser's mouth. This disc does a great disservice to Bad Manners, its fans and frankly to any listener within earshot. Skip this disc, buy any other Bad Manners album and make note of this label and anything else they put out should be avoided like the plague.

What were they thinking?
Then, somebody got the idea of doing a bunch of mixing with the lyrics and music, as if attempting to make a more upbeat, hip-hop version of some of the songs. That is, what was the person who cut this CD thinking? First, all the songs are cut short, and they all run together as if the CD is just one big medley. I was appauled to hear "Special Brew" cut short, sandwiched between two songs, and missing the cool organ playing. And as for "Ne Ne Na Na Na Na Noo Noo", it was surprisingly annoying to listen to. I looked at the cover, and saw that this CD was made in. . . where?. . . Germany?! What the heck? Please, don't make the same mistake I did. If you love Bad Manners, don't buy this album, and for God's sake, don't buy this album for someone else. If I could return it, I would. Instead, I'm going to save my dignity and get a well recorded, untouched album of Bad Manners without all the songs being messed with.
