Bangles still don't get it.
She is the only one that has a special voice. I was amazed that Hoffs only sings lead on 4 songs. They still must have the same problem that broke the group up. They were jealous of her popularity instead of embracing it and feeling fortunate that they had something special. Too bad, because with Hoff's voice and the groups harmonies, they could be much better.

The Bangles bring the 60's Jangle into the 21's century
They have good songs as well as 4 different, distinct lead vocalists. I have always loved the Bangles due to the fact they could really play and sing well together. This album shows alot of growth as writers. I think Michael Steele's contributions on the cd are awesome. She is definitely their secret weapon as a singer, writer, and as a bass player. I don't really think of the Bangles as a girl-group, I just think of them as a really great band. I recently purchased their new cd, thinking I was getting the import(which has 2 bonus tracks), but found these tracks not on my copy. I can't wait to hear these songs. I'm sure I'm going to love these tracks as much as the rest of this album.
