Customer Reviews ANDRE RIEU This CD is a must for all enthusiasts of the Amazing and very charismatic Andre Rieu. . . As always the music performed by the Strauss Orchestra and this wonderful leader who has taken Europe by storm and NOW also Australia. We are all looking forward towards his visit to our shores next year, November 2008. Yes, we are a little late in this discovery but not too late to join in with the rest of the world in being enthralled by this man's magic. . . "Magic" is the only description that I can give, as we all have heard this particular music before, but never performed in the ANDRE RIEU style. . . . . Please make this CD yours as you will not be disappointed. . . Sophie Bastas. GREAT ANDRE 1 sound quality is outstanding the concert is in 2 parts on the same disc which is a nice feature. The 5. The music is a joy to listen too. Andre is a true artist giving you marvelous music from all over the world. The video is clear full of detail and colorful. At The Movies by Andre Rieu Here he plays popular music with a classical orchestra and adds his special ingredients to it ie:humor (musical jokes for the serious listener),fun,light-heartedness. Andre Rieu brings a warmth and pop-like aire to his music. It's a band of very talented musicians having alot of fun as is evident in the playing and especially if you've seen them in concert. I can "hear" the smiles on their not serious faces by their style of playing. . . less staccato and with more feeling. Andre and company swing and dance through every track climaxing on Ravel's Bolero from the movie "10". .
