Customer Review How to describe Battisti? All I can say is that 'nel sole, nel vento, nel sorriso, nel pianto' is the only song I know that makes me cry every time--not cry every time I HEAR it, but every time I SING it. . That's what makes Battisti's music so powerful: when you sing along with him, YOU FEEL what he feels--the emotion is real, his songs will move you, shake you, make you cry out in joy, in pain, in empathy with the fundamentally tender human thoughts and emotions (pensieri, emozioni) that flower through this man's songwriting genius.
