Awesome collection for the price!
He doesn't quite get disk 3 & 4, that is some of their out there stuff. My seven year old saved up his money so we could go in half-zies on this box set. Now if he is singing, outside of church, he is singing Beach Boys! The product was received quickly and was in A+ condition. Thanks Amazon!.

Capitol, Help!! Please Put the Fidelity Back in This Box Set!!
's 1 star review is spot on. The sound quality of this box set is extremely disappointing- Frank C. I really hoped he was wrong when I ordered this set, but sadly, he's right. . . Oh, well. You can easily tell the inferior quality of the recordings on this boxed set if you compare the same songs from the later remasters on 'Sounds of Summer' and 'Warmth of the Sun'. At the same time, this boxed set has some great 5 star musical content. So I'll give it 3-1/2 stars, since musical content trumps sound quality. . . . I hope someday soon Capitol records will try to right the wrongs they have done to music lovers who paid for these very unmusical, sucked out recordings by putting the fidelity back into this boxed set. . . .

Beach Boys......depends on what your looking for
If your an audiophile and want the original recordings in their original sound you may not find it here. Some of the other reviews are correct. Also, if your wanting to find only the Beach Boy hits you remember you might want to buy one of the Greatest Hits albums. This box set has many songs never released to the public I believe. If you want the hits, plus some, and the recording method doesn't bother you then this is good buy. Personally, I do not have the high end equipment I didn't mind if there were songs I had never heard before. I am glad I bought this box set and enjoy it.

Enjoyable Listing
It's a great collection of work along with behind the scenes studio recordings. I haven't even listen to all of the CDs, but what I have heard brings back great memories of what I couldn't find anywhere else on CD. Recommended for any Beach Boys casual or die hard fan.

Good Vibrations: Thirty Years of the Beach Boys
He's enjoyed listening to it. I purchased this 5 CD set for my husband as a Father's Day gift. It's a excellent CD and includes the many Beach Boy hits and extra material never released. Extremely great value for the money and I encourage any Beach Boy fans to make it a purchase.
