Customer Reviews Soothing and Sensual His ability to sing with such feeling about his love for his home and in the case of "True Hawaiian Ways" his mother is touching. This CD is a rich collection of melodies and images with Keola's resonant vocals taking you on a journey the islands. The slack key guitar work is stunning in its complexity and rhythms and you get the feeling he is really having fun with his playing. This is a CD that makes you feel grateful to be alive and in contact with such a talent as Keola. Soothing and sweet Keola's voice has a soothing mellow quality and he sings with such sincere emotion about Hawaii that it makes you homesick for the islands. This collection of music is rich with melody and resonant guitar work. The song written for his mother, True Hawaiian Way, is touching in his admiration for his mom's heart and kindness. The addition of native instruments used for percussion and the nose flute are amazing in the way they compliment the vocals and guitarwork. This one continues to grow on you. .
