Classics such as "Norwegian Wood" and "Yesterday" appear here, as well as such ironic heart twisters as "She's Leaving Home". The Beatles 1977 realease of "Love Songs" is the quintisential collection of The Beatles catchiest ballads. This is a fine compilation of what is arguEABLY The Beatles finest work. I would recommend this to anyone who can find this collection, as it has recently been discontinued by the manufacturer.

FORGOT ABOUT THIS ONE, UNTIL I SAW IT FOR SALE. LOVE SONGS THE BEATLES. REMEMBERED I REALLY LIKED IT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. PLAYED IT SO MUCH THE TAPE WORE OUT. IF YOU ARE A BEATLES FAN GET THIS CD. IT WAS A GREAT IDEA. THEY SHOULD RE-RELEASE IT.

NOW ,SADLY OUT OF PRINT ,THIS CRIES OUT FOR RE-RELEASE ! THIS ITALIAN VERSION IS A MINI-LP FORMAT , MADE TO COMMERATE/RECREATE THE VINLY VERSION AND INCLUDES A 28 PG PHOTO , LYRICS , INFO BOOKLET ,WHICH I AM NOT SURE WAS IN THE ORIGINAL VINYL RELEASE. THIS GREAT COLLECTION WAS INITALLY ISSUED IN A 2 LP VINYL ALBUM FORM AND THE MOST COLLECTIBLE OF THE CD SETS IS THIS 2 CD VERSION. THIS JUST ALWAYS MAKES A GREAT GIFT FOR ANY REAL BEATLES FAN ,PLUS THE GOLD EMBOSSING ON THE FRONT IS JUST DARN COOL ! .
