FUN! FUN! Great music, get it!!!
Just listen to it and it is like you are invited to a cool party. a funky, soul, hip CD that is on my short list for all-time best CDs ever. Jump into Beck's world, go for that crazy sexy fun ride and then end it all with Debra. Beck is a genius. see him do Mixed Bizness live on youtube, that boy has some cool dance moves too. I love the throwback to the 1970's funky style, I can taste it a little in this CD. (I grew up in the 70's. . . . )It is like a musical stew. (LOL!!)

Play it loud in your car, on your ipod when you are at the gym, anywhere. it is good any time, any place, any where.

those people who hate it, missed the boat. they are soooo wrong. I'm telling you!!! and you can get this CD used for like a dollar. Do it!.

Production party
3 1/2

Still standing as one of the eclectic songwriter's most adventurous recordings, this may be the album where Hansen's application of white-funk shtick is laid on a little too heavily, as a cluttered overproduction seems to detract from Vulture's fractured-Soul strengths.

Party on
Lots of fun. This was the party cd of 1999 for many people. Wild and crazy and then there's Beautiful Way.

Must Haves
The double punch of Sexx Laws and Nicotine & Gravy is just the beginning as we are melted in Beck's ever increasing tongue in cheek-ness and fun, deliberate or not. By far, my all time favorite Beck album, Midnite Vultures brings in hip hop, soul, funk and every other genre this little genius can wrap his words around. This is one of those must haves.

This is more like Kraftwerk than Prince
Who cares. This album is about 8 million years old as I write this. I think it's pretty good and sounds better than alot of the material that anyone might still bother to listen to from that time.

I've read a bunch of the reviews for this album. It sounds like the critics haven't gotten out much.

If you like white funk, Beefheart, Prince, Beck and Kraftwerk, then this is a good album. 'Mixed Business' is a highlight.

If you can get it cheap, buy it. It's a good listen.
