The Master at his best For some reason Beck has chosen to keep a low profile. Jeff Beck has been an Icon since his stint with the Yardbirds. Jeff Beck in many ways is like Jimi Hendrix, shy off stage but a monster when he gets onstage. This CD shows Beck live and shows why he is the finest living guitarist in the world. Many have copied his style over the years. Beck like Clapton and Hendrix is an original and not a copy. These three guitarists wrote the book. He does Bolero from his early years, and a personal favorite of mine Cause we ended as lovers. Big Block, Nadia, Led Boots and Bluewind also appear on here. The show stopper, Somewhere over the Rainbow ends the performance. One thing of note here is the way he uses a slide. Slides are traditionally used for Delta Blues songs. Beck uses slides for effect.
