Live and it Rocks
Released in 2000, it does not state any dates or locations for the performances, but it appears to include performances from more than one evening. This is collection of 10 well recorded live tracks released by BMG Special Products. The extended cut of "In The Heat of the Night" is the best version of this song I have ever heard. I have several "Extended Versions" CDs from BMG, and they always pick excellent live recordings. I only wish they would give some detail on WHEN and WHERE these tracks were recorded.


A WONDERFUL SLICE OF BENATAR LIVE!
Though the cd is under 50 mins. While this cd could have been longer, it is worth it to hear the live renditions of songs made popular by Pat and
her crack band. , it's a nice ride, culminating with a 10:16 minute version of
In The Heat Of The Night that is worth the price of admission alone. I'm not familiar with any of their live albums
other than this one, but plan on checking their other ones out. Personally, because of the price, I like to get these versions first, and then go on from there. I have Extended Versions of The Fabulous Thunderbirds and
Humble Pie, and along with Benatar, all 3 have quality live recordings and can not complain about them at all.


You get what you pay for
Since it had no track listing I had no idea what to expect. I purchased this CD after seeing here on Amazon. I had hoped it would be a collection of the 12" single versions of Benatar's hits. It was not. It is a collection of live versions of some of her work from her first three albums. Not that bad, but very misleading since most of the songs are not extended at all. It would have helped is there was listing of the tracks so that Amazon buyers would know what they were getting.
