Also get "beautiful (the remix album)" import for alternate tracks and mixes.
the tracks you will find on "Beautiful" that are not on here are:

1. The import version of this remix collection is a must-have for Blondie completists because it has remixes of some songs that are not on here, as well as alternate mixes of some of these track, so the track listing is slightly different. Union City Blue (Diddy's Power & Passion Edit)
4. Heart Of Glass (Diddy's Adorable Illusion Mix)
5. Sunday Girl (The Hardly Handbag Mix)
6. Call Me (Debbie Does Dallas)
9. Hanging On The Telephone (Nose Bleed Handbag Mix)

If you also own all the maxi CD singles released at the time, you'll have a few of the mixes from the Beautiful release already, but it is a good place to get those mixes if you missed out on the CD singles.

one good track
Most remixes completely miss the point of the orginal tracks and sound like they were slapped together very quickly for a quick buck. Other than the genuinely great remix of Atomic by Diddy, the remixes here are highly forgetable. Avoid.

Oldtimer
2004 I still like Blondie, but I was disappointed during checkin' out this cd. I recently purchased this item and figure that this remix compilation is no longer in style. I can mark only 2 songs that decent: trk 4. Atomic (Diddy's 12" mix) (back to many years I had that remix) and the only one song that kicks ass, is the last one: Fade Away And Radiate (108 BPM mix).
This cd can be recommended only for Blondie fanatics. I'd rather buy the "best of" with the original versions.

Blondie At The Club
On the other hand, because they were made in 1995, these remixes have passed the test of time. Well, considering that we are in the new millenium, there are many DJ's outthere that are willing to remix the original gems much better. My favorite and most outstanding remix is Ritchie Jones' version of "Heart of Glass". It is the only song on my computer that is worth taking up gygabytes from my harddrive. Diddy's "Atomic" is as well noticeable, but sounds more like a beat over the original song, something anyone is capable of doing with recent software. I'm not sure this remix project is the best I've heard, but it deserves the stars it gets for well thought-out remixes rather than randomnly thrown beat loops.
