Blues Brothers at their best! Excellent collection!
If you are a fan of major brass and sax. great collection performed by the Blues Brothers. . . this is the one for you!.


If you like the blues bothers this is a must have
Being a 2 disc set and 30 plus tracks you get big names like Aretha Franklin,Ray Charles,Cab Calloway and James Brown. This album is great buy the music form the movie and more. At a time when the blues were almost part of the past Jake and Elwood brought the blues back in to the light of a younger crowd and for many generations to come.

It's 4 stars only because i think in needs 2 more tracks. Stand by your man (Tammy Wynette hit) from the country bunker and The girl form ipanema from the elevator ride to the tax collectors office. .


The Best of the Blues Brothers cds
In my opinion the soundtrack is the best soundtrack ever (a close 2nd is Pulp Fiction). There are many albums put out by the Blues Brothers but this one is the best that features the music from the movie.
Minnie the Moocher, Sweet Home Chicago and Everybody Needs Somebody are three of the highlights of the cd. I am not a fan of the Blues but I really enjoyed this album and everytime I put it on it brings a smile to my face. This is one album that will have you tapping your feet. .


Best Blues Brothers album
Only one song was missing: Boom boom of John Lee Hooker. It is the most complete Blues Brothers collection out there.

Why was it missing? I don't know. Actually the movie version of that song is to my opinion the best.

Good collection, questionable quality.
The CD sounds great in standard CD players, but some of the songs would not play on my computer CD drive which plays all other CDs without difficulty. This is a great collection of music from the Blues Brothers movie that includes most, if not all, the tracks that fans are seeking. Other than that glitch the CD is a worthy collection. .
