Great Sound! Great Band! Great Music!
"Tender" still moves me whenever I hear it and their diverse styles of music all represented here from the comical pop of "Parklife" to the grunge, Nirvana-esque, "Song 2" the great talent of the band shines through. Wow! What a great cd and for me personally must rank as one of the best greatest hits compilations out there and with the extra disc, which is also great, what more can a Blur fan ask for?

Not only are the band great musicians individually but they also have great songwriting skills.

The recording quality is also very good on both discs. A worthy addition to any music-lover's collection.

Perfection on a disc !
it Goes through so many stages in Blur's Career- from the Nirvana-ish thrash metal of 'Song 2' to the beauty of 'The Universal' and the Disco-esque 'Girls and Boys'. To me, this album is essential to anyone's Record Collection. I keep Re-discovering this album over and over again after having phases with other bands, but this is like a home to me- warm and comforting- and FUN ! but emotional too. On my last 're-discovery' I began taking it everywhere with me- on cassette in the car, on minidisc when walking anywhere and on CD at home. It's THAT addictive that I couldn't bare to part with it- it was beginning to kill my social life ! I couldn't review this compilation track-by-track because it would take so long. Unlike some albums where you're summing up fillers, this would be like taking a compilation of a whole decade's worth of music and concluding each track. This is truly perfection in every way. Graham Coxon is a musical genious, up there with the likes of Thom Yorke, capable of defining a whole style of music in brit-pop. Blur are like The Pied Piper (And I'm not referring to the Dj-ing variety)- they make what's seemingly a small tune and the masses follow (Cast,James, et al). The group are influential beyond belief to these kinds of bands and and provide them with endless inspiration. So please buy this album- you won't regret it, and it's excellent value, including the 10-track live bonus disc which is worth the money in itself.

The best of is THE BEST
Of course I personally would rather have a lot of the b-sides. This is the best cd ever!!!! It has all the greatest hits, only problem with it no Popscene, other than that if your new and trying to sum up blur in 10 years this would be the cd. Keep on Blurring!!!.
