Vintage Garth with Fresh Horses It is a great CD with a variety of music that showcases this legend's talent. Garth Brook's Fresh Horses was originally released in 1995. On a scale of 1 to 5 in keeping with Amazon's theme, I grade the songs as follows:
1. Old Stuff: A fast paced ode to the older songs. Four of Five
2. Cowboys and Angels: A nice song. Three of Five
3. Fever: Three of Five
4. That Ol' Wind: Four of Five
5. Rollin': Three of Five
6. Change: Three of Five
7. Beaches of Cheyenne: Five of Five. A great song.
8. To Make You Feel My Love: Five of Five, and outstanding ballad.
9. It's Midnight Cinderella: Three of Five
10. She's Every Woman: This is one of my favortite Garth songs. Five of Five
11. Ireland: Four of Five

the song i want isn't on here!!!
I get the CD and the song is not on here! I will not listen to this CD. It says online that the song, "To Make You Feel My Love" is on this CD. That is the only song I wanted it for.
Wrong songs listed
I ordered this CD and it does not have "To Make You Feel My Love' on it.
Great cd
His cds range from good to so-so. Garth is one of the greatest entertainers of all time. This is one of my faviorte Garth cds probably because its not traditional. This cd may have not been a big seller for Garth, but he is diffently at his peak on this cd. This cd has many good songs, including Ireland and The Ol' Wind. Pick up this cd if you like country or just good music.
overlooked and underappreciated
But it is much more than that. There is no Garth Album I don't like, adm I know this album was highly unsuccesful, and was said to be designed to rejuvenate his career, with upbeat uptempo party music that you'd play at a mad house party with no deep, meaningness at all. This would of been the last of his albums I'd of bought, but my ex-father gave it to me along with a couple other cd's early in 2002. It still has some of his most compelling, bold and meaningful songs, That Old Wind , the longest song he has ever recorded, which is a love ballad. The Change, is right up there with We Shall Be Free, his most contreversial song he ever wrote, it is hard to beat in his inspirational music. About the Oklahoma City bombing the song is incredible telling us how with just one faithful soul hanging on out of thousands hope and miracles will remain. The Beaches Of Cheyenne, is a downbeat song about an addicted rodeo man who dies bull riding and his wife runs out in the ocean and dissapears for good. She's Every Woman is another example of meaningful songs, you probably already know it. And Ireland, is an anthem to the country, to say the least, the anthem is isn't even in the same neighborhood as how this album was labeled.
