Smoothest Collection of Buffett Ballads!
I have most of his CD's, and this is the one I have listened to more than all others, especially if you want to kick back and relax. In my opinion, this is the smoothest collection of Buffett tunes on one CD. The title song "Floridays" may be his best all around ballad, but there are so many, it's hard to pick. .


Classic Buffett, great for any fan
This CD contains a song for everyone, and for every mood. This is a great CD, whether you are a die-hard parrothead or just a casual fan. "I Love the Now" is a fun way to kick off the CD, and "Meet Me in Memphis" is a toe-tapper as well, and the addition of a horn section makes this song, as well as the others, very enjoyable to hear. The bittersweet "Nobody Speaks To the Captain No More" is a noce change of pace, and "No Plane on Sunday" makes you think how life would be like stuck in the tropics. The CD ends with a bang with the fun, uptempo "You'll Never Work in Did Bidness Again. " There aren't many songson this CD that frequently find themselves in Buffett's set list, and that makes many of them so appealing. This is a must have collection of songs for new and old fans alike, and it can take you back toa simpler time.

My cd came in two days which I was not exspecting!. I am very happy with my purchase.

However, there are a couple of gold nuggets that while not overwhelming, do make this CD a respectable one. There are a number of songs on this CD that don't have the feel and vibe we've come to expect from the king parrothead. Not Jimmy's best, but not junk.

Unlike other's reviews, I like the lead off song 'I like the now'. It captures Jimmy's live in the moment philosophy and it has a good rhythm.

'Meet Me in Memphis' is just an enjoyable song and you get to witness JB's story telling ability. One of the best songs on the CD.

'When the Coast is Clear' is another good song with good music and story telling.

The rest of the CD is filler to me. 'Floridays' is just a disappointing song considering what it could have been.

It is a Buffett fan must have. My husband was thrilled to receive this CD. .
