I had already bought one c. This is my favorite buffet album. d. but my girlfriend stole it. Listened to it for many many hours.


Live the Carribean Life with the Best Music of All-Time!
This is his best by far, but other albums during this period have some similiar steel drum infused tracks on them. Only Jimmy Buffett can seem to infuse Steel drum, country, calypso and rock and roll into the greatest listening music ever. Every song is great on this album. Bring it on your next island adventure and see what happens when you come back and listen too it at that time. . . you will be transported back and probabally lower your blood pressure in a very measurable way. I love all of his work, but he hasn't done anything with this much steel drum since this album, with the exception of the very fun, short lived musical, "Don't Stop the Carnival". I can only hope that he moves in this direction again.

but the true parrot heads at heart dig deeper and find beaches boats and bars to be an awesome collection of his finer works. as with any self respecting child of the 80s other than the hair bands and rock gods that were staples of every ones musical diet, my parents had the good sense to give me a well rounded musical education including masters like James Taylor Boston and jimmy buffett! everyone starts out with Jimmy's songs you know by heart and sadly most being distracted by the AWESOME beach party lifestyle that his music embodies stop there. but for the pirates that look at 40 the ones whose fins always point srtaight down A1A toward margaritaville, we've got every track hes ever made and they all rock! the reason that i purchased banana wind was that i discovered that i was part fruitcake and my collection was one cheeseburger short of paradise but now that i have my bananas in the wind my attitudes and latitudes are all strutting naked thru the cross walk in the middle of the week ;o).


BANANA WIND
I love Jimmy Buffett but had never heard this song or several others on the CD. I bought this CD for one song, "Bob Roberts Society Band" which I heard on Sirius radio on the way home one night. I think it is one of his best!.


Soothing Music
He plays it when he goes fishing. My husband & I love this CD. It is the most relaxful and soothing music. I also gave this Cd to one of my best friends. You will definately enjoy it.
