great songs Solomon has a style I like and I just like the music. I love this CD. There isn't one song I don't like. I like the interaction with the audience.
One of the best live albums ever
Top notch performance making you wish you were there in New Orleans that night. Buy it! Don't think twice; it's better than alright.
Vivid and visualized live in 1994
He sings with a mike and a tulip in his hands. This live CD's inner-sleeve shows some photos of Solomon Burke and his big band which consists of more than ten. Not so large a stage is stuffed by his rhythm and horn section and background girls. Crammed people in this house of blues are heated up and sweated up. And the sound in this CD "show" you such vivid scenes. I've never seen his performance before, but I can "see" it thanks to this visualizing sound. .
music for lovers
I have listened to Solomon Burke's music for years and Beautiful Brown Eyes is by far the best he's ever done.
