Saved the best for last
Interesting that my favorite track was the very last one, and it was more of an interview than a rap track, but I LOVE Tigger (when will his CD ever drop?) so it was cool to hear him. I kept listening to the CD waiting for that one fiyya joint that I always hear on every Busta Rhymes CD, and it's usually a party track. The ad libs made me laugh -- very characteristic of Busta's style. I respected Busta Rhymes for clearing up all the rumors and talking about his former bodyguard and friend. Always good to hear the situation from the main person's perspective. The rest of the CD was cool. Nothing I'm blasting out loud, but it may take a few more listens before I'm hooked. I am relieved he calmed down a little on calling women out of their names, and that song where he made the licking song made my jaw drop. Overall, pretty decent CD.


"GOD BODY IN THE FLESH, CALL ME GODZILLA"
Seven solo albums and three record labels later and he still tries to break our necks. When is Busta Rhymes gonna give it up? Since 1990, Bus-A-Bus has been a fixture in hip hop. Its been 3 years since his last CD (his last with Aftermath). And this album has been pushed back since late last year. That shows no faith from the record company. So now the question is: Do people still have love for Busta Rhymes? "Back On My B. S. " attemps to answer that question.

Busta blames bad promotion for his bad record sales of his last album. I can agree because it was actually pretty good. But now I'm beginning to wonder if that was Busta's last stand. Lately, Busta has been known for his club joints and he doesn't disappoint with songs like "Arab Money" ft Ron Browz. He gets assistance from Lil' Wayne and Jadakiss on "Respect My Conglomerate". "Hustler's Anthem" ft. T-Pain is fun with classic Busta flow. And Busta gets reflective on "Decisions", ft Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, John Legend & Common. This is the best cut on the album. That was the good. Now for the ugly. Busta has never been known as a great lyricist, but he seems to take a step back even further on "I'm A Go And Get My. . . ". "World Go Round" ft. Estelle is terrible. The beat is cartoon-ish it shoulda been on Common's `Universal Mind Control'. Sometimes with a Pharrell produced track its hit or miss, "Kill Dem" misses the mark terribly.

This is not the best we seen from Busta. His last CD was better in everyway. But if you liked him before, you won't be disappointed. He's not reinventing himself, he just gives us more of what we want from Busta. . . Energy.

Not so good

The rhyming is all over the place, the beats are not good,
and the guests are terrible. Even though I am a big Busta fan, this album is a mess. This is a big let down.
I was hoping for something much better.
The last good (all the way thru) Busta album was GENESIS and that was almost 8 YEARS AGO ~ !!! LOVED THAT ALBUM, PURE FIRE. . . . I feel his time has probably passed now. Genesis came out, and was a banger for sure, he got signed to Aftermath and has just fallen off since then. The Big Bang was better than this album,
but was still not very good. The worst part of this release is the beats. . . OMG. . . they are not good, not even close, they are hard to listen to. I wish I wouldn't have bought this release. I would say I am hoping his next one is better, but I think he's done.


well its new and typical busta
the overall cd starts out great and kinda thins in the middle but then picks back up toward the end. i say that because it does have typical busta on the cd but at the same time it has the busta that always keeps up with the times as far as riding the bandwagon by getting t payne and ti and folk like that on the cd but hey what can i say i guess it shouldnt be surprising busta got them. of course bust smashes the lyrics on here but i just wish he would get more dj scratch produced songs like he use to. anyway still a dope cd so real hip hoppers please go pick it up!.

This is one of the best busta rhyme album all the cuts are great good beat classic busta rhymes!.
