Not the greatest single as far as new songs go


so my 2 stars are for the release itself, the songs are great and everyone who knows cake will have them, best off saving your money with this one. firstly make sure to get the jewel case version of this, the cardboard version has exactly the same bsides as the jewel case release of 'the distance'

fairly pointless release, no one wants radio edits of songs just because of the f word and all the other songs are found on albums.


Great Single
If you enjoyed those songs than you'll love Cake's Motorcade Of Generosity. I will Surivive is great song and you get a taste of Cake's first album with the songs Ruby Sees All and Rock and Roll lifestyle which are great songs. A definite must for any Cake fan. You can pick up right here at Amazon. com but make sure you get the remastered version, it has much better sound quality.
