Utter dreck
The sound is wretched, the tracks were scraped from the absolute bottom of the Beefheart barrel, and most of them are available elsewhere in much better versions. I don't know what the other reviewer was smoking, but -- DON'T waste your money on this lousy bootleg.

Mostly the blues by the master
, generally good audio, but who cares when the performances are so fine. A great collection of rare tracks by the Captain et al. Material features lots of blues-centric tracks, and some instrumental versions of familiar tracks. Interesting to hear the Captain covering John Lee Hooker's Tupelo, but actually, his blues sounds more authentic on his own material. I'm glad I picked this up!.
