Loverboy Was Her Last Minute Choice For Glitter Single!!!
She did have a slammin' new single in the works but it was lifted by a certain beat-biter dope style taker. . . . J. LOW was given the tune from Tommy Mottola who gave it to producer Irv Gotti who then had J. LOW and JaRule use the track for their 2001 hit. . .

Mariah at the last minute did have to throw together a new single since hers was stolen. . The same thing happened to Usher in 2005. . . and by J. LOW.

A cool Mariah single!
I don't know why everyone hates Glitter, the album Glitter and any of the singles because Mariah's voice is amazing and I actually like the movie and CD because, unlike most people, have an open mind and can appreciate it! I love Loverboy and all the remixes, all 9 remixes that were made, especially the Club Of Love Remix and the MJ Cole London Dub Mix! A few of the remixes, MJ Cole Remix, MJ Cole Instrumental, and MJ Cole London Dub Mix, even have this Jazzy sound to it and it makes it very unique! The song Loverboy is very unique! I wish people would just stop saying that Glitter and the Glitter CD flopped because anyone with real taste would love Mariah going back to the 80's sound and any REAL Mariah fan would appreciate the album and movie like I do!! I actually cried during Glitter because Mariah did such a wonderful job and she showed all these emotions! It's just really sad that so many people have to put down the most beautiful, powerful, soaringly 7 octave voice in the world!! Thank You So Much Mariah for making another wonderful album, Glitter, and for the movie Glitter, I am your TRUE fan until the end of time!!!!.

ho hummmmmm
i gave this song 1 star because it is boring. i don't think that a person should review a song based on their music video and therefore those who say that this song is tasteless because of the video are not that bright. it feels superficial. mariah is wasting her talent. it alright to explore and experiment with your music but it would be a plus if one would not uproot totally from one's niche. mariah's radical change in style feels distant which makes her lose connection with her fans like me.

Another stool for the masses to consume
For someone who was so incredibly high up in the music world with such amazing music from 1990-1995 she has become nothing but a burnt out cinder of her former self. Mariah Carey showed that her talent was no longer with her with her most recent joke entitled "Loverboy" (Awfully generic wouldn't you say) which is simply the song Candy being copied and adding Mariahs childish whining and amatuerish rappers. She will never come close to real talent like Celine Dion, Oleta Adams, Madonna or even Nelly Furtado. . . Her talent is truly wasted.
