Customer Reviews
Great album!
Now that we no longer see or talk to each other, this song has a different meaning in my life. It's hard to imagine that a 17-year-old like me at that time actually went out and bought this album--seeing I was really into Alanis Morissette, Green Day and "Hootie"---but I did!

Peter Cetera, in my opinion, is one of the greatest songwriters/singers in the adult comtemporary world these days! Almost a month before my boyfriend and I broke up, we played the song "I Wanna Take Forever Tonight" over and over again!!! We kept talking about how great that song was.

Some of the other songs that Peter Cetera has on this album are just emotional--especially Apple Of My Daddy's Eye. Although it's upbeat in tempo, it's still a great song! I was battling junioritis/senioritis at the time, and had all these fears of leaving high school, going off to college, and being away from my family and friends. And the fact that I'm growing up and moving on with my life really struck a chord on me.

It's still one of my favorites. There are other great ones too! And I am still moved everytime I listen to some tracks off this album!.

A few good tracks but mostly formulaic and lacking hooks
Tracks 1,2,3, and 5 are passable but don't compare favorably to World Falling Down, One More Story, or Solitude/Solitaire. As big a Peter Cetera fan as I am, this is one album I easily live without. The rest of the album all blends together, lacks any memorable hooks, and is at times unlistenable. It may not be entirely Peter's fault; the production here is consistently uninspired. There are so many wonderful albums in the world. Don't succumb to completism! You don't need this!.

Infused with emotion
The emotion evoked in so many of these songs is remarkable. I only recently sat down and LISTENED to this CD. The naked longing in "I Wanna Be There" gives me chills. I read in another forum that this album was created at or about the same time as Mr. Cetera's marriage was breaking up. . . and his music shows it. "And I Think of You," "Faithfully" and "Still Getting Over You" are beautiful and his spin on "Happy Man" is heartbreaking.
