Customer Reviews one of the best pop-emo albums out there I love almost every song on this album for the music. First off, this whole album is beautifully orchestrated. When I first heard the vocals on this album I immediately fell in love (and this was during my hardcore phase, which is saying a lot) The lyrics are amazing and the energy flowing through this album keeps ya hooked right up to the last song. Even if you don't really like anything that smells like pop, it'll take all you got not love this gem of a record. hauntingly beautiful work the band was changing artisticly, and recognizing their own change, the album starting showing up in stores since with name chamberlain instead of split lip as the artist. split lip was a emo band back in the day- and when this album cam out originally, it was release by split lip. chamberlain went on to write completely different albums from that of the split lip era. nevertheless, this album is a shows something of a hybrid of both sounds (and names) this band had. the result is what i consider to be something haunting and beautiful, one of my favorite albums. . something i believe all those into sunny day and elliott, or some of chamberlain's other work should not be without. .
