From... ArgentinaThe product took weeks to get here, but it got here fine. . I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew beforehand that it ships from ARGENTINA! I will be indebted for the rest of my life with the greenhouse gases that it took to get here, but nothing wrong with the product. Location seller gives is misleading.
TENGA CUIDADO - LOS PRODUCTOS SON DE ARGENTINA!! .
SUPER
Very Average
Sad to say I couldn't even listen to the entire album. I really enjoyed his live album (Radio Bemba Sound System) and was hoping to enjoy the studio version of some of the songs off that album. The recording quality was so poor it became annoying.
I get the impression he is a great live act, but studio-wise it's difficult to emulate the same energy. Perhaps his later albums are better, but I'm afraid not game to risk any more purchases based on my experience with this album. I guess I'm just not that much of a fan.
Lively up yourself
I'm unable to maintain a frown when the disk starts spinning. King Sunny Ade meets Pete Seger. Enriched by what feels like a living room jam session , led by an international ambassador to whom languages are as distinct as he happens to decide they are while he weaves another story. This World Village sound brings up Jimmy Cliff tales of struggle and hope , blended with those Harry Belafonte Calypso sing alongs, suddenly and quite importantly married to the best of Hip Hop . Hey Ya ! .
