We want to feel important. The obituaries are littered with the corpses of academics who devoted their lives to the pursuit of finding out what people want!
Tracy Chapman's Fast Car makes our needs very clear. I have never ever seen such articulate lyrics in my entire life.
When those lyrics are coupled with outstanding music its sheer genius!
This song is so far on target that its erie!.


This song has so much meaning........
I meet my husband when I was 17 and we married when I 18. This song has so much meaning for me. It's a long story and one that is hard to understand but, anyway my mom and stepfather took me away from him and it almost killed me. Then one evening I packed my stuff and he picked me up in his "FAST CAR" and I felt so free. So the lryics to this song are so true to me, as if it was wrote for me. That was 5 yrs. ago and we are still so much in love. I would love to have this song, but it's out of stock.

words&music really go hand&hand here. Tracy Chapman has her signature song here. this song has held up really strong. a great basic message within the song that gives hope in any situation. amust have.

I love this song!! The lyrics are, well, just great! ~And I-I with a feeling I belong. . driving in your car~ It is just great! For the longest time I had no clue whatsoever who sang this song, but now that I know, I got the CD and I LOVE it! 'Well done Tracy Chapman'.
