The Chemical Brothers - Get Yourself High
The Chemical Brothers Band: The Chemical Brothers
Title: Get Yourself High

Release Date: 2004-01-27
Media: Audio CD

Tracks: 1: Get Yourself High (Extended Version) 2: Get Yourself High (Feliz Da Housecat's Chemical Meltdown Mix) 3: Get Yourself High (Switches Rely On Dub) 4: The Golden Path (Ewan Pearson Extended Vocal) 5: The Golden Path (Ewan's Rave Hell Dub) 6: Nude Night 7: Get Yourself High (video)

Get Youself Big Speakers
Nude Night I think an exersise of what can be done when you have unused sounds from another tracks. All tracks Exceptional, maybe boring at the 2nd one but the rest is good, going from the original extended version to some mixes with slow beat and again a big beat.

Funk Up The House

More like an old-school EP, the set includes three slick versions of Get Yourself High, two strides down The Golden Path, Nude Night and a video of the title cut. This is one sharp release by the Chemical Brothers.

A value at twice the price, Feliz Da Housecat's Chemical Meltdown Mix of Get Yourself High is worth the cost of admission, with the Ewan Pearson Extended Vocal on The Golden Path a nod to the Beat Generation.

This is an outstanding way for listeners to get a sweet taste of a classic band and an absolute must for fans.

A CD I overlooked
Get Yourself High is the main song of the CD. . but I love The Golden Path. Poetic and funky. . . .

You'll get high with this
6 wonderful tracks, including The Golden Path (you can't miss this track), there also an extra video of Get Yourself High which you can watch at your PC and it's funny as hell!!!!.

Excellent single to their Singles 93-03 Album.
'Get Yourself High' features Canadian rapper K-OS, who I don't know much about, and is pretty much a rap song combined with Tom and Ed breaking out a different style of house beats into hip-hop. This wild CD-Single, released after their Singles album, to me is just a fun little EXTRA for those who enjoyed the Singles album in general. The 'Extended Version' version gets even better, even though I never realize that it is longer. Felis Da Housecat does a good job with his version as it's along the lines of a dancefloor version. 'Switches Rely On Rub' in my opinion, was the best version of the song. The versions of 'The Golden Path' were alright, but I still prefer the version from the Singles album myself. 'Nude Night' was on the verge of being a very good B-Side track and a complete wreck of a track. The video is. . . interesting *laugh*

Another thing. . . this is more of an EP than a single, becasue it contains The Golden Path and a B-Side. It sort of qualifies for a potential EP title, would anyone else agree?

Overall, this single is worth it, thanks!.
