Love it.
Couldn't stand to hear "Wonderful Tonight" one more time but love the way he plays the blues. One of my favorite Clapton albums. While purist Robert Johnson fans may object to anyone, anywhere reinterpreting the master, Clapton knows what he is doing. He just does it his way. Can't blame an artist for that and fortunately for us fans, we love him for it. This album is a different, more polished version than the DVD. I like them both for what they are. I try to listen to every version recorded of "C'mon in My Kitchen" and this album contains my second favorite version. Unfortunately Bonnie Raitt has never recorded her version. My only wish is that Clapton would record more albums like this one.

Sue's Blues Review
Don't pass this one up. For those who love blues and Clapton, this CD with Robert Johnson is a hidden surprise of music waiting to be listened to.

Mr.Clapton does Mr. Johnson credit..

Love, love, love this recording. Blues as we have learned to know it is a Robert Johnson "thang" and Eric Clapton being "God" only recreated a masterpiece. It. . does. . both. . justice.

Me and Mr. Johnson: a great blues collection
Clapton does a wonderful job on Mr. Mr. Johnson's songs. A top notch band as always, this time with Billy Preston on organ. Just a really great album.

R. Johnson must have come back as Eric Claton.
But with Eric Clapton taking ahold of these songs he has pushed Johnsons's legacy even further. To most people Robert Johnson's legacy will live on forever. I had goose bumbs from the first song to the last.
