BIFFY CLYRO RULE Biffy clyro are the best band to ever come out of scotland and blackend sky is the best album i've heard this year. just boy is a really amazing song, i saw biffy live a few weeks a go with weezer and i've just ordered tickets to go see them again with coper temple clause.
SCOTTISH PERFECTION(THE BEST LIVE BAND SINCE NIRVANA)
IGNORE THE MINDLESS NU-METAL AND PUNK THATS AROUND AND ADD THE MIGHTY BIFFY TO YOUR COLLECTION, THEN, SEE THEM LIVE. WHAT CAN I SAY, YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THE FULL POWER AND EMOTION OF MUSIC UNTIL YOU HEAR THIS BAND. . . . . . . WOW!(THEY ARE SURE TO BE BIG WITH THE RELEASE OF THE ALBUM IN MERCH, BUY THAT TOO, EVERY SONG IS UTTER PERFECTION).
Amazing band, amazing single...
This single just re-assures that they are only improving as time goes on. Biffy Clyro are one of the best bands to come along in quite some time. Just Boy is an amazing song, and although I do prefer the original EP version, the single version has some nice new effects and some different vocals. Being Gabriel is the highlight of this single. It clocks in at 6 minutes long, and is as good of a B-side that you will find. Unsubtle is good, although not as good as the others, but its a quick blast of rock energy and is growing on me. Biffy Clyro are band that deserves to be huge, so check them out.
From out of nowhere
Placing this CD in your hifi is not a listening experience. . it is an epiphany. From the moment those first jangling chords come crashing in you know this is going to be something special. This is Biffy Clyro's 4th release and it's amazing quite how far they've come from there original release the kids of pop. The title track itself is a glorious pop song with just a hint of meloncholly with it's "I don't believe in anything" chorus. The B side's while not quite on a parr with the title track do contain some interesting ideas and with it's sweeping melodies "being gabriel" could easily have been an A-side. In short, if you don't own this Cd you must have not heard Biffy Clyro yet, because if you had heard them you'd already own it.
