Definitely get the deluxe edition, as some of the extra songs are the best on the album. Great album. .


Joe hits the career-best sweet spot in "I've Been Loving You Too Long"


I won't repeat what others have written here. Egged on by Leon, Joe reaches for the brass ring and grabs it with a vengeance. . . "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" is a certified classic on every level. . . every bit the equal of DEREK and the DOMINOS - Layla and Others Assorted Love Songs (Remixed Version): 20th Anniversary Edition or The Allman Brothers at Fillmore East. . .

But when Cocker, in the midst of "Blue Medley," launches into Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long," and bellows "I don't want to stop now. . . I DON'T WANT TO STOP NOW. . . "

. . . and the choir swells above him, and the band keeps hammering and hammering and Joe keeps climbing and climbing. . .

. . . and then it's down to a whisper. . .

If you're lucky, once in a lifetime you'll hear a performance this grand. Joe Cocker's career has been a true mix of peaks and valleys, but this one song. . . with Leon Russell confidently and aggressively at his side. . . is the stuff that LEGENDS are made of.

The Deluxe edition of Mad Dogs,with its extra tracks is a truly high quality reminder of what an outstanding piece of work this album was.

This is a great album. Joe Cocker was always one of my favorite singers. Seller delivered in a fast manner.

I love this deluxe edition. I was at this concert when they played in Seattle, the best concert I've ever been to, and I've been to lots and lots. I had owned the record album, but because of divorce I lost all my music. It's wonderful to get some of it back.
