Excellent single
What I love about Coldplay is that most of the time they put out really good b-sides; good, original, unreleased songs, not just some live track or dance remix. This is a decent single. I wish the singles market here in the States was as large as it is over in England cause I feel we're really missing out on some great stuff. Anyway. . . .

"Shiver" was never really my favorite of Coldplay's songs. It's not bad, it's just not as good as most of their others. Track 2, "For You" is not bad, it's a slow piano based number that moves along gently yet never quite achieves lift-off. The closing song, "Careful Where You Stand" is a great one however. It has a beautiful melody and a wonderful guitar part. It's definitely better than some of the tracks off of Parachutes.

A decent single, worth the five dollars you can get it for.

This is a pretty good A-side song, I would recommend getting the single for all Coldplay fans who like to have the B-sides that you can only get on the singles.

Their are cool. this is their the first material, and i have to say that is amazing all the songs are really great, my favorite one is shiver, and this band is the best new group that i never heard.


My all time favourite Coldplay song "For You"

"For You" is their masterpiece. if you love the softer side of Parachutes, then invest the cash in this ep for the 2 b-sides. Right up there with "Spies" and "Trouble". Sparsely driven by piano and as haunting as they get.

"Careful Where you Stand" is nearly as beautiful and mellow, this time acoustic guitar based.


Coldplay truly provokes Shivers down your spine
The lyrics instantly struck me. When I first heard Coldplay I was amazed on how beautiful their songs were. The guitars beautiful. The sound beautiful. I was introduced to Coldplay a little while back by an friend of mine from the UK. I have bought Parachutes and have downloaded every song thats not included on the album. They truly are a sound that brings out so much emotion. Shiver was the first song of theirs I had heard and I instantly fell in love with Coldplay. Every one of their songs is quality music that is hard to find lately. I would tell anyone to buy this and buy Parachutes!!! Shiver has brought me to tears. There arent many songs that can make a teenager cry. This truly is a masterpiece!! Coldplay sends shivers of emotion up and down my spine. . :) Quality Band quality music. I always have an extra copy cause I always end up wanting to share it with people so i give it away!!! Their cd is ALWAYS in my stero.
