The cd I perchased arrived in perfect condition very quickly after ordering it, at a price that made it seem that I had stolen it.

Who could forget his cover of Hot Rod Lincoln? The album cover art is truly a reminder of days gone by. A blast from the past! Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen are among the best of the hippy country & western bands and they also play rock and boogy woogy.

Beat Me Daddy, Eight To The Bar!.

This Band Swings!
Check out their version of Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, which IMHO is superior to Asleep at the Wheels. Just bought this CD & I must say CC&LPAM are a really good band! Their mix of boogie/woogie & western swing is very catchy & to think many of these cuts were recorded years ago. Ray Benson's Hot Rod Lincoln version is almost a note by note copy of Bill Kirchen's with CC&LPAM. For the price this CD is a good deal.

Nice Little Collection
I never had the pleasure of seeing them perform live but have heard they put on a great show. Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen always put out fun albums, and this collection will do nicely if you just want all the hits. Highly recommended.
