Lost Classic
Actually, I know how it was forgotten the first time. This is one of my all-time favorite good-time records, and I don't understand how it keeps getting forgotten. The original LP was put out by Peter Pan Records -- the kiddy record company. They didn't even come up with a subsidiary label. That's why I bought it from the cutout bin -- a doper band on Peter Pan Records -- what a novelty.

But the album itself is great -- there's not really a bad track on the album, and most Commander Cody albums have their share of weaker tracks. This is simply a fun album. I've put it on during parties and enjoyed watching everyone listen and have fun without realizing who the band really is. Side 1 of the original band is one of my favorite album sides EVER -- strength to strength to strength. The first 6 or 7 songs could be a killer set list for any bar band in America. It's cheap -- order it and give it a try. .
