Pay no attention to "The Mook's" rant
Because Japanese-manufactured CD's cost more intrinsically, the labels often require 1-2 bonus tracks for inclusion in order to entice Japanese buyers to buy the local version rather than an imported one. Please be aware that Japanese import CD's cost what they cost due to currency differences. This practice has nothing whatsoever to do with bilking foreign fans. The bands usually do not have any say in the matter: either they fork over some bonus material, or the album doesn't get released in Japan. I thought most music fans knew this, and it amazes me that some are so publicly ignorant.

simply amazing
this review is for the price of one extra song in of all languages,french. ive already written my review for this masterpiece. does one song really equal$40?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?when the disc info stated extra tracks,i was looking for extra TRACKS. like an albums worth not just 1. between ultimate dvd versions with deleted scenes and these outrageous imports,labels are trying desparately to squeeze as much greenbacks out of us with as little in return as possible. aside from the price for 1 not multiple,JUST 1 bonus track,this is one of the top 5 best solo efforts ive had the priviledge of hearing. mr cornell,please hurry with the follow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.


Undeniabley A Solid CD.
This cd does just that. It's extermely rare when a cd comes around that meets your expectations and exceeds them. A cd that breaks all molds and trends and follows a path only given to the artist. Sure the sounds are modern but All-Out Original. No constraints on this album either, Chris flows from one style and genre to the other and often crosses boundries within a given song. If you like music where the theme is surrounded around genuine creativity this is the cd for you! We all know how phenomenal Cornell's voice is, and in the category of delivering he doesn't fall short. If you want a cd that you can play over and over again, and doesn't die after the second spin, this is the cd for you. ENJOY.


Wow! I never realized!!
The lyrics are profound and beautiful. Having always loved Soundgarden, I looked forward to Chris' solo debut! However, it completely amazed even me. His voice has never sounded better. A truly amazing album.

I've just read the review about the album with bonus tracks. . I have the standard album already , and i LOVE it so much. And i really would like to hear the other 2 songs though. Tracks number 3-5-9 and 12 are really great. . . i love the purity and the flexibility of the lyrics. . What I've just written may sound ironic, but if you love lyrics that are NOT straight-forward, and if you already love Cornell, this album will be a great company for you while riding your bike, or driving alone.
