Christmas Hit - Jingle All the Way
It is NOT for the mainstream interest. This is one of my favorite Christmas CDs - not my wife's. I enjoy the raw style of the vocals and music, yet it's recorded in quality so it's good listening.

Great Holiday Album for the Apocalypse
For those not wanting to pay the 200 clams on Amazon Used, emusic. Great stuff here, especially the 'Jingle Bells' cover, which just needed a few whip cracks to even it out. com has this offering on the cheap.

Crash Test Dummies - "Jingle all the Way"
Then Brad Roberts delivers the lyrics as if he's William Shatner, and you just HAVE to smile "all the way". From the moment you hear the Hammond organ on "White Christmas", you know you're in for a wild ride.

If you prefer your Carols sung straight, please stay away from this recording. If, however, you want to hear unusual arrangements (some funny, like "White Christmas" or scary, like "Jingle Bells"), then this album is a must for you. Brad Roberts leads half the songs, while Ellen Reid takes care of the rest - which helps variety-wise.

The arrangements range from funny to sublime, including my (now) favorite rendition of "Little Drummer Boy". Please listen to the sound bites and let yourself be convinced that this is one Christmas album you will DEFINITELY play every year in December, and a few times the rest of the year.

Add some variety to your Christmas music collection
"Jingle All the Way" by the Crash Test Dummies offers some variety to the vocals, and I'm happy to add it to my collection. I love Christmas music but must confess that I'm getting tired of everyone covering all the standards.

Wow ... and now for something different.
I enjoy it immensely and if you like the low vocals Ben performs then you should enjoy this one too!. I have enjoyed listening to many non Christmas songs from the Crash Test but this one makes me laugh as it is so different from the usual.
