Customer Reviews The Best Holds many favorites and is an excellent introduction to opera for those who either aren't familiar with it, or think they can't enjoy it. This CD is the best one I've ever heard by Pavarotti. Many exquisite songs paired with his magnificent voice, it's truly a treat. A wonderful voice It's quite simply wonderful. I have many CD's by Pavorotti but this is a complete collection and something I had to have after the death of the master. . Great collection of songs and arias. That being said, this Cd is the best. I used to think that this wasn't Opera, but now I found out that there was more to music than that of scary music, and scary film scores. The arias on the first Cd are filled with emotion, because they take me back to a time when music was real. I also like the songs on the second Cd because they are nice to listen to. Highly recommended. If you're wondering why I'm giving this five stars, it's because I've discovered that there was more to music, and more to Opera than I'd ever know. .
