The Snake Sheds and Reveals It's Beauty Yet Again
4p was very fluid with dark melody and IS one of his best. Next to Danzig 4p, this is the crispest compilation of songs he has put together. Satan's Child surpasses it only because Glenn Danzig, the Living legend, amazingly gets better at his arts with every breath he takes.

There are many refined elements of BlackAciDevil in this album. He has combined them with the essence of all of his albums to offer us Satan's Child. Many will deny this because they are not true fans of the mans musical talents and they thought that BlackAciDevil was a bad album. Danzig does not put out bad albums. He only releases excellent productions whether it is liked or not. We must remember that Glenn Danzig's attitude is PUNK to the fullest extent possible, and he does what he wants without any care about what the people want him to do. I respect him for staying true to himself and for maintaining that attitude.

Five Finger Crawl, Belly of the Beast, Lilin, Cult w/out a Name, and Firemass are my absolute favorites on this album. This is a very sexually charged album which has served as an aphrodisiac for me and my dates on many occasion. These 'Sexually charged', very well produced, slower songs, allow Glenn's amazing talents to shine through as the unique vocalist that he is. He is at his best and I am impatiently waiting in the Shadows of Hell Fire's Light for Danzig Se7en.

Take a step into Metal
It is about the dark subject matter of death or murder as it starts out with a sound that could be gurgling blood. Five Finger Crawl is the standout track on this CD and is worth buying the CD just for that song. It is a fantastic CD, until you realize that it all sounds very similar, like one big song. Other great songs on the CD are Satan's Child, Belly of the Beast and the slow groove of Cult Eternal. I also have this to say about the album, rock and metal most of the time you focus on the guitars and drums, with this CD it gives you the ability to think of everything, chilling powerful vocals, thought provoking lyrics (about a dark subject), strong guitars, solid drums, and the occasional synth whining in songs during the instrumental bridges. This could be a big crossover metal to mainstream if it were not so dark. If you want to take a step into metal, this is your CD!.

Evil as evil can be!
Well, industrial influences can be a boon or a bane. . depends on how you incorporate them. Motley Crue, Paradise Lost and even Danzig went ahead to screw up their records in Generation Swine, One Second & Host and Blackacidevil respectively. Well, Glenn sure did his homework and has come up with one of the most raging releases from his Pandora's Box. The CD rocks from point one till point twelve (or is it thirteen?). Five Finger Crawl, Unspeakable, Lilin, Cold Eternal and the title track are as doom laden as the man himself. However, the song East Indian Devil (Kali's Song) is not a true representation of the mystic Indian legends. For one. . . Kali is not a devil. . . she was created by the gods to destroy a demon. . . and it was necessary that she looked dark and fiery, in order to scare the demon. Glenn Danzig ought to learn a bit more about Indian legends and scriptures, should he want to write such songs again. Nonetheless, the album is a must buy and would definitely rank as his best effort. . . or as a matter of fact. . . . the best of any effort in combining industrial and dark metal elements, and not ending up sounding like a pregnant cow begging for cheese in a dairy farm. Way to go Glenn!.
