Dashboard Confessional - Vindicated Audio CD
A fair review of the Dashboard Confessional "Vindicated" Audio CD. Please note that the below review is the views of the authors, and authors only. You can get a complete list of all

Who doesn't love this song? They started all acoustic-y, and now they're all rock band-y, and this was right around that time the transition was made. If you already love Dashboard, why do you need a review? If you don't know Dashboard, this is as good a place as any to start. This disc contains a little acoustic song, and a little rock anthem-y heartache song. Not the best example of either from this band, but a good start if you're looking to start getting your Carabba on.

not vindication for the price
The only reason to buy his would be just to say you own it. For true fans of Dashboard Confessional, this is nothing new. "Vindicated" is an amazing song, granted; but most DC fans already have it through. . . less reputable means. "Warmth of The Sand" also is quite good. It also appears on a Vagrant Records comp called Another Year of The Streets Vol 3. That comp also has great songs by bands such as Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, The New Amsterdams, and Hot Rod Circuit. In total is has 15 tracks, but it's a hit and miss comp. This version of "Hands Down" is on the So Impossible EP, which also includes three other amazing songs ("For You To Notice," "So Impossible," and "Remember To Breathe"). What I would suggest instead of buying this single would be to download "Vindicated" (use iTunes and get it for . 99 cents, just to stay safe), buy Another Year On The Streets Vol 3, and buy the So Impossible EP. That way, you'll be getting a lot more for your money.
The best day I can ever remember...
And "The Warmth of the Sand" is a catchy little (acoustic) track too. I bought this CD because I love both "Hands Down" and "Vindicated". =)
I was a bit surprised when I heard "Hands Down". This version of "Hands Down" is NOT the same as the one on "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar". It just has Chris singing along with an acoustic guitar. I think it might be the same as the one from the "So Impossible" EP. . . sure sounds like it from the sample clip.
So, is it worth the price? There are some CDs from Amazon's Marketplace sellers that look pretty affordable. I bought mine for under $10 shipped and I'm really happy with it. Okay, back to listening to more Dashboard!.
It's All About Track 2
As far as I know, "The Warmth of the Sand" is only available on this album. The other songs you can get on other albums. And, honestly, it's one of my favorite songs written by Dashboard. Now, it's not worth the price of the CD, so I might suggest getting it through. . . other means. But, it is an amazing song.
