Can't help but love This album has great variety and good lyrical content. I picked this album up after hearing a song on the spider man movies and learning it was by this group. Not a very technical group but the compilation is just right and I'm eager to hear more of their work.
Can't Miss
You will enjoy this CD. This CD is much better than reviews are giving it credit for. It has a little bit of everything and it is all done well.
Great emotion
Never been a fan of Dashboard simply because I didn't know about them. I like this disc a lot. Heard one of the songs from this album on an episode of Scrubs and loved it. Good, soul-stirring stuff. Get a copy if you still can.

Great Album
This CD is full of great tunes like Don't Wait, Stolen, So Long So Long, Currents and Rooftops and Invitations. This album is a great addition to Dashboard's already stunning list of songs. if you're a fan of this groups earlier stuff, this may not be the album for you, as for me I just love their lyrics and their sound.
I can't believe how much I like this album
I understand that. I know that many people who have been fans of DC for many years think that this album is a bit too much of a departure for their tastes. So because this album is what made me a fan, I suppose this review doesn't have much cred. However, for all the opinion of a new fan is worth, I think this album is fantastic.
I personally found most of DC's earlier work a little bland for my tastes. When I first heard "Vindicated" on the radio, I couldn't believe it was a DC song. That song was in my head non-stop. So I figured what the hey, let's get the whole CD. Holy guacomole, people, I can't believe how much I like this album.
"Don't Wait" is one of my favorites. It's melodic, yearning, and just harsh enough to be memorable. Other standouts are (of course) "Vindicated," "Stolen," and "Heaven Here," which builds slowly into an atmospheric gem of a song. A couple of the songs are a little subtle for my tastes. The title track is a bit on the forgettable side. I'm not much of a Counting Crows fan, so the Durtiz collaboration on "So Long, So Long" falls somewhat flat to me.
Overall, I think what makes this album memorable is also what makes it a work of art: it perfectly captures the essence of summer's end in the music, lyrics, and CC's vocal stylings. Softly fading sun that throws gold on the grass, warm days yielding to nights tinged with chill, and romances that must, like the summer heat itself, inevitably end.
