Truly Brilliant...
' Every song is written and sung with 100% honesty. Howie is one of the few musicians out there that comes completely 'fluff-free. Some songs softer, sweeter, some more raw and rockin, this EP is the perfect way to be introduced to Howie's sound and soul. For old fans, this EP is one more showcase of Howie's truly awesome musicianship. For musicians and non-musicians alike, listening to such a genuine and unique artist with his amount of passion and creativity is simply a blessing. Though Howie is backed with a band and there isn't a whole lot of his signature looping on this EP, his talent is still highlighted and fans will still listen to these seven songs over and over again.

Great Live CD
I got it right when it came out and I think it is great and its probably my favorite Howie Day CD. I recommend everyone go and get this CD. I have heard a few other live songs from Howie Day and the live songs on this cd are probably the best of the best versions. This is a great CD to put into your CD player and listen to it over and over. .

Highly anticipated and it didn't disappoint
Like many Howie Day fans, the promise of a new release was incredible. . when I discovered that it was going to be Live From. . . I was really excited. My first thought was of Madrigals - Howie's last Live EP release way, way back in 2003, which also has an amazing DVD of Howie performing solo. I did know that this EP was going to be with the band, so I was a little unsure what to make of it. Howie Day is an amazing, unique performer who I've seen live with and without the band and although I prefer Howie solo, Howie with the band is also a great show! The Live From. . . EP also includes a cover of one of my favourite 90s songs - *Don't Dream It's Over* by Crowded House as well as other favourites from Howie's extensive back catalogue. It also features a live version of Howie's hit song *Collide* BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!.

Better Than I Thought It Would Be...
Well. When I heard Howie Day was putting out a live ep, I was estatic! Finally, the general public not exposed to the raw sound of this amazing musician would get to hear the real Howie Day. . . not really. Unfortunately, Howie Day decided to put out an EP with a full backing band. For those who know Howie Day before his last album (actually before Australia to some extent) knows that Howie Day is totally in his element alone, with his gutiar and petals. His looping of his gutiar and voice, making it sound like many voices and instuments, is nothing short of amazing! Why he continues to put out music so completely different than what made him the musician he is today will never cease to amaze me. . . Fortunately, he is such an incredibly talented musician that even a polished watered down Howie Day is better than most anything else in the genre! I just hope someday he will put out a live album featuring "Howie Day". . . and no one else. Until then. This is sure to please the masses, Especially if you enjoyed "Stop the World Now". .
